Conflict on the water world of Maltern’s Folly! The near-human natives on the planet have reneged on their deal with entrepreneur Lozek Otmorr to allow him and his Quarren allies to mine the Lowlands, an underwater plain filled with metal-rich nodules.

The natives are threatening to destroy Lozek’s equipment and drive his entire expedition back into space. They’ve already attacked several of his Quarren workers, sparking a strike among the sea-dwellers who refuse to work until Otmorr can guarantee their safety.

The Otmorr family, long supporters of the Unified Force Academy, have asked the Jedi to negotiate a peaceful settlement to the stand off.  The Jedi have agreed, dispatching the Gand Jedi Master Qillon Kree and a team of padawans on the Aeon Harrier on a diplomatic mission to the world. (more…)

The crew of the Aeon Harrier is hired to salvage a remote processor from a derelict Sith droidship left over from the Great Sith War. They jump to the coordinates of the wreck, chase off some other would-be salvagers in hacked-together junk starfighters and then hunt through the debris field of an ancient battle to find their prey.

They board the hulk and destroy the handful of active droids they find there and recover the processor. Before they can leave though, the junk starfighters return along with their mothership: the DeadStar, a deep space salvage vessel (and rumored shipjacker) operating out of Taris.

The captain of the DeadStar demands that the Harrier surrender and turn over their find to a boarding party. The Jedi contingent, in the form of Rann and JPD-14, urge the crew of the Harrier to stand their ground and fend off the DeadStar’s thugs, but the captain and his crew have none of it.

Instead, the captain orders Highlife to plot an emergency hyperspace jump allowing the ship to escape the DeadStar and (thanks to the skill of her pilot) to make it back to Zebulon Beta in one piece.

Pirates threaten the Vargis Tau system! A band of pirates has taken up residence on the Prime, one of the twin worlds of the Zebulon system. Transports and freighters from its sister world of Zebulon Beta have been easy prey for the piratical scum thanks to the traitor, Torg Shepherdson, the former assistant portmaster at Beta’s capital city of Jolus.

After being found and taken into custody by padawans from the local Jedi Academy, the traitor was nearly killed in an ambush by members of the Scarbrother swoop bike gang. With help from the crew of the Aeon Harrier, the Jedi apprentices defeated the Scarbrothers, as well as the truth threat to Shepherdson: a Zabrakian bounty hunter named Koth.

Believed to have been hired by the pirates to kill or capture Shepherdson, Koth fired a single, laser bolt at the traitor only to have it blocked by the Jedi Rade Gasa. When the Jedi and their new allies turned to pursue him, the bounty hunter jetted away.

Meanwhile, on Zebulon Prime, Jedi Knight Lornn Varri and the padawan Rann, along with a contingent of planetary militia,  the pirate base.

They arrive to find it stripped clean of all useful materials and the freighter Grey Lurker abandoned in its hanger. Unfortunately for the investigation, the ship’s data stores had been removed or wiped, leaving no further leads. (more…)

Danger lurks in the space ways! Striking from their hidden bases on the jungle world of Zebulon Prime, pirate have been praying on ships throughout the Vargis Tau system. Vessels traveling between the Prime and its sister world of Zebulon Beta have been struck repeatedly, leading to loss of life and property.

Rumors suggest that the Jedi sent one of their best knights, assisted by two padawans and a training droid, to investigate. The small force crippled a pirate bas and learned the identity of a vile traitor passing shipping and cargo data to the pirates before returning home.

That traitor – Torg Shepherdson – is now on the run. And everyone – the government, the pirates, the Jedi – wants to find him. But who will find him first?

The adventure began on the world of Zebulon Beta, part of the binary planetary system of Zebulon in the Vargis Tau system. We joined our three young padawans in the training yards of the Citadel of Kal-Kor, home to the Unified Force Academy, under the watchful eye of Jedi Knight Lornn Varri. (more…)
